Our team take the time to listen and tailor our services to you, providing expert guidance every step of the way.

1. Secured and unsecured options.

Loans secured against property are usually cheaper and unsecured loans are usually faster. We lay out what each costs and what it puts at risk.

2. Matched to the purpose.

A term loan for growth, an overdraft or line of credit for cash flow. Using the right facility for the job keeps the cost down.

3. Your home loan plans protected.

Business debt and director guarantees affect what you can borrow personally. We structure with your next home or investment purchase in mind.

Let us research 50+ banks & lenders to find the right solution for you.

We work with Australia’s leading banks and non-bank lenders including ANZ, Bank of Queensland Suncorp, AMP, Macquarie Bankwest and many more, giving you more options, better rates, and loans tailored to your exact needs. No bias, just what works best for you.

How our Brisbane Southside mortgage broker helps

Why do Brisbane Southside businesses use Evergreen?

The Southside is full of working businesses, from offices in Brisbane Technology Park to Sunnybank's restaurants and retailers and the transport and logistics operators around Rocklea and Archerfield. Each has a different income pattern, and lenders read them differently.

Gundeep Virk brings 15+ years in banking and finance across home loans, unsecured lending, agri-banking and branch leadership, so he has seen lending from the bank's side. He can explain your options in English, Punjabi or Hindi.

FAQs

  • What can a business loan be used for?

Common uses include working capital, buying stock, fit-outs, hiring staff, purchasing another business, refinancing existing business debt and smoothing out seasonal cash flow. Equipment and vehicles are often better funded with asset finance. Matching the type of finance to the purpose usually gives better pricing. Read how business loans work.

  • Do I need property as security?

Not always. Unsecured business loans are available, generally for smaller amounts, shorter terms and at higher rates. Offering property as security, such as your home or commercial premises, usually improves pricing and how much you can borrow. Some lenders also accept business assets or a director's guarantee. We compare secured and unsecured options so you can weigh the trade-off.

  • What will a lender want to see?

Usually business financial statements, tax returns, BAS and business bank statements, plus details of existing debts and what the funds are for. Some lenders work with a shorter trading history or less paperwork, using bank statements or accounting software data instead, at a different price. We tell you what your chosen lender needs before you apply.

  • Will a business loan affect my home loan application?

It can. Lenders count business debts and any personal guarantees you have given when assessing your personal borrowing, and some treat them more harshly than others. If you plan to buy or refinance a home soon, the order in which you apply matters. We plan both together so one does not reduce what you can borrow for the other.

  • How quickly can I get a business loan?

Some unsecured business loans can be approved within a few days, especially where the lender uses bank statement or accounting software data. Larger or secured loans take longer because of valuations and legal documents, often a few weeks. Having your financials, BAS and bank statements ready helps, and we tell you upfront how long each lender is likely to take.

  • Can a new business get a loan?

Yes, but options are narrower. Many lenders want at least one to two years of trading, though some will lend to newer businesses with strong industry experience, security or a solid business plan. Rates are usually higher at first. We look at your history and security to find lenders whose policy fits.
