Our Story.

Led by Gundeep Virk, a seasoned banking professional with over 15 years of experience in various roles including home loans, unsecured loans, agri-banking, and branch leadership, Evergreen Loan Solutions is dedicated to providing personalised financial solutions.

Our team take the time to listen and tailor our services to you, providing expert guidance every step of the way.

1. One repayment at a home loan rate.

Higher-interest debts rolled into your mortgage, replacing several repayments with one.

2. The whole cost, not just the rate.

A lower rate stretched over a longer term can cost more in total. We model both so the saving is real, not deferred.

3. Experience from the unsecured side.

Gundeep's banking background covers unsecured loans as well as home loans, so he understands both sides of the debt you are combining.

Let us research 50+ banks & lenders to find the right solution for you.

We work with Australia’s leading banks and non-bank lenders including ANZ, Bank of Queensland Suncorp, AMP, Macquarie Bankwest and many more, giving you more options, better rates, and loans tailored to your exact needs. No bias, just what works best for you.

How our Brisbane Southside mortgage broker helps

Why do Brisbane Southside borrowers consolidate through Evergreen?

Consolidation is easy to sell on the monthly repayment and easy to get wrong on the total cost. Spreading a five-year debt across a thirty-year home loan needs a clear plan to pay it down faster.

Many Southside home owners hold more equity than they realise, which is what makes consolidation possible. We compare 50+ lenders, including non-bank and specialist lenders who assess a stretched credit file case by case.

FAQs

  • Does consolidating debt into my home loan save money?

It usually lowers the interest rate and your monthly repayments, because home loan rates are lower than credit card and personal loan rates. But spreading short-term debt over a 25 or 30-year home loan can increase the total interest you pay unless you make extra repayments. We run both scenarios side by side before recommending anything. See consolidating credit card debt.

  • What debts can be consolidated?

Credit cards, personal loans, car loans, store cards and buy now pay later balances can generally be included. Some lenders also accept tax debts or business debts, while others do not. Lenders differ on the total amount they will consolidate and at what loan-to-value ratio. We check which lenders accept your mix of debts before anything is lodged.

  • How much equity do I need?

It depends on the lender and the amount being consolidated. Keeping the new loan at or below 80% of your home's value usually avoids Lenders Mortgage Insurance and gives you more lenders to choose from. Some lenders will go higher for consolidation, but costs rise. We check your current value and balance to see what is realistic.

  • Can I consolidate if I have missed payments?

Possibly. Specialist and non-bank lenders on our panel weigh the age, size and reason for past credit issues, so options often exist where a major bank would decline. Rates may be higher at first, but consolidating can stop arrears getting worse. Once your repayment history is clean, you may be able to refinance to a mainstream lender later.

  • Should I close my credit cards after consolidating?

In most cases, yes. Lenders count the full limit of every open credit card against your borrowing capacity, even with a zero balance, and keeping them open makes it easy for debt to build up again. Many lenders require consolidated cards to be closed at settlement. We confirm what your lender requires and plan around any card you need to keep.

  • Will debt consolidation affect my credit score?

The application adds a credit enquiry, which can lower your score slightly for a short time. Over the following months, paying off and closing high-interest debts and making one on-time repayment usually improves your credit file. The bigger risk is applying with several lenders at once, which is why we check policy before lodging with one.
